On her daughter Sylvia's birth certificate in 1907, it states that Rebecca had 8 children, 6 of whom were living. It's difficult to read the date of Rebecca's immigration from Russia on the 1920 census. It could be either 1880 or 1886.

Arnold's last name was orignially Brill. His parents died when he and his brothers were aged 1, 2 & 3. Arnold was adopted by cousins with the last name Jankowitz and grew up in Gary, Indiana. He brothers were Ben & Sol Brill. The brothers all met each other again when they were in the service. Sol's wife Betty and Bev were childhood friends.
Arnold Janco had several occupations. He managed an A&P grocery store, he owned a movie theater and a supermarket and also worked for Elliott Tarson.
